Officers of the association shall be President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, and Treasurer. Duties of the Officers and Directors
The President shall preside at all meetings of the association and the Board of Directors and shall with the Treasurer, sign all checks drawn on the association monies, shall act as ex-officio member of all committees except the nominating committee and shall coordinate the work of the officers and committees in order that the purposes of the association may be promoted.
The Vice President shall act as aide to the President and shall perform the duties of the President in the absence of that officer.
The Recording Secretary shall keep a correct record of all meetings of the association and of the Executive Committee, and shall perform such other duties required from time to time.
The Treasurer shall receive all monies of the association, keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures, pay out funds in accordance with approved expenditures authorized by the association and sign with the president on all checks. The Treasurer shall present his books for audit when requested by the Audit Committee at the end of each fiscal Year, or at other times deemed necessary. When the Audit Committee is satisfied with the Treasurers annual report, a signed statement of fact shall be reported.
Nominations of the officers can be made from the floor at the meeting during which elections are held. We have selected November as the nominating Month and December as the election month.
The Board of Directors shall consist of the officers and five other active members who shall be elected in the same manner and at the same time as the officers.
Members may be admitted to this association prior to the beginning of any meeting except the December meeting.
